Willie James (Son) Sargent, 87, of Waxahachie, passed away Friday, July 25, 2008 at his home. He was born July 16, 1921 to Ira and Myrtle Sargent. During his life's journey, Willie was the owner of Sargent's Garage of Waxahachie; a member of the Ellis County Sheriff's Posse; an NHRA race car driver, a member of Straight-Way Non-Denominational Church of Waxahachie, an avid horseman, a wonderful friend, and a great confidant who will be greatly missed.
