Ural Lane Digby was born September 2, 1941 to the late Ural and Ollie Mae King. She attended school in Forreston Texas and later attended Turner High School in Waxahachie, Texas. Lane accepted her calling to spread God's word through the ministry of music at age 11. Cooper Chapel Baptist Church in Forreston Tx is where she first began to touch people with her voice and her love for music. Ural Lane met and married CL Smith in 1958. To his union 7 children were born and Lane spent her time being a loving mother and wife. Lane was a faithful member of the Canaan Missionary Baptist Church in Maypearl, Tx where she continued her music ministry and served as the pianist and choir director. In 1997 Lane met and married Woodrow Digby of Waxahachie, TX and they lived in Maypearl until she became ill.
