Theodore (Coach) Harris, 67 of Waxahachie, passed away on Friday, October 21, 2011. Coach Harris was born August 15, 1944, in Brownwood, Texas. He graduated from Howard Payne University in 1966, and spent 32 years as an educator. He is survived by his wife, Verdie Harris, son and daughter-in-law, Ted and Wendy Harris of Omaha, Nebraska, son and daughter-in-law, John and Valerie Harris of Austin, Texas, daughter and son-in-law Bernita and James Robinson of Arlington, Texas. He is also survived by four grandchildren, brother and sister-in-law James and Louise Harris of Dallas, Texas, aunt Helen Davis of The Colony, Texas, cousin Annette Woodfork of Houston, Texas, along with many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents Mr. John Willie Harris and Mrs. Bernice Harris.
