Rosa B. Scott Washington was born on October 8, 1926, in Waxahachie, TX to the parentage of the late Roosevelt and Emma Scott. Rosa accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior at an early age at the Messiah Church of the Living God. She served her final years as the mother of the church. She received her formal education at Oaklawn School in Waxahachie, TX. She retired from the Steel Mill in Dallas, TX. Rosa B. Scott Washington united in marriage to Jonny Washington Sr., who preceded her in death. Her twin brother, Roosevelt Scott, also preceded her in death. She leaves to cherish her precious memories, one son: Johnny Washington Jr.; one adopted son: Larry D. Washington; one adopted daughter: Kanishia R. Washington; one brother: Lawrence Scott; 10 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and a very close friend, Patsy Allen.
