Terry "Anthony" Morlock, 66, of Waxahachie, TX passed away peacefully in his home on Saturday, March 6th,
2021. His remains will rest at the VA National Cemetery in Dallas, TX.
Anthony was born in South Bend, Indiana on July 8th,
1954. He was one of three children and the only son of Vaughn and Gertie Morlock. Anthony went to La Salle High School, class of 1973, where he threw shot put and ran track. He served our country as an Airman First Class in the U.S. Air Force beginning March
of 1975.
Anthony's beautiful legacy lives on through his two daughters and six grandchildren: Jessica Briseno, her husband Alfonso, and their two children Trystan and Amelia; and Cassandra Morlock, her husband Daniel Hernandez, and their four children Jonathan, Cynthia, Daniel "Alex" and Sophia. He is also survived by his two sisters Nancy Morgan, her husband Roger; and Sue Garman, her husband John, and their two children Selina and Andy. He was preceded in death by his parents Vaughn and Gertie Morlock.
Anthony was a father, grandpa, papa, brother, friend and an avid believer in Christ. He loved to make people laugh with his silly shenanigans and could make friends with anyone. Anthony was a thoughtful and generous person with a big heart, who was rarely caught not smiling. He was a true sweetheart with a slight stubborn streak, but it was impossible to stay mad at him! Anthony was a "jack of all trades" and a man of many hobbies including: history, photography, war movies, coin collecting, space enthusiast and gardening. He was a skilled carpenter by trade and poured himself into his work. He loved watching football, especially Notre Dame and the Green Bay Packers, and eat pizza. Anthony will be greatly missed by many, but his kind blue eyes and genuine smile will forever be remembered by all.
