Obituary

Samuel Bernard Tramel was born August 28, 1951 to the parents of Samuel Alexander and Dora Tramel. He attended public school at James E. Guinn and Dunbar High School and also Henderson Junior College. Samuel accepted the Lord at an early age at the Eastern Hills Church of Christ in Fort Worth, TX and later in life joined the Mt. Pleasant Church under the leadership of Rev. R. K. Reynolds. Sam was a man that loved the Lord and studies the word of the Lord. After graduating from high school, Sam joined the Air Force, where he served 3 years. He also served in the Vietnam War. After returning from duty, he met and married the love of his life Mrs. Debra Johnson. From this union a beautiful baby girl was born, Sequilla Samika Tramel. He loved her with all of his heart and she was the joy of his life. Sam had a special love, not only for his daughter, parents and sisters, but for his entire family. Although our hearts are saddened by his untimely demise, our fond memories of him will live forever. Sam was proceeded in death by one brother, Fredrick Edwards. He leaves to cherish his memory, his daughter Sequilla Tramel; mother, Dora and Batty Wilbur, father, Samuel Alexander; sisters, Mary Woodard, Gloria Tramel and Laura Harris; two grandchildren, Darius and Devine Anderson, four nephews and two nieces, a host of cousins and friends
