Sammie "Charles" Eldridge was born to the parentage of Sammie Lee Eldridge of Longview, Texas and Minnie Grisby of Waxahachie, Texas. He was preceded in death by his brother, David Eldridge and his sister, Ethel Marie Eldridge. He attended Waxahachie Public Schools and was employed by Jim Pitts and Susan Soloman and a few others throughout the years.
