Ricky was proceeded in death by his father, Edward Lee Jones; his mother, Marine Jones; and Forrest Jones.             He is survived by: a son, Eric Michael Jones of Columbus, Ohio; two sisters, Elaine Jackson of Waxahachie,  TX and Sherin Montgomery of Lancaster, TX; four aunts; seven nieces and nephews; twenty great nieces and nephews; a loving friend, Mary Grooms; and a host of loved ones and friends.             He attended Waxahachie High School, and upon completion, enlisted in the U. S. Armed Forces. While serving in the U. S. Army, as a staff sergeant, he fought in combat, two wars, in the defense of his country. He traveled the world, served his country, and his Lord, with integrity, dignity, and love, for his family and his country.
