Obituary

Pleas Wash, affectionately known as "Pudding" was born on March 15, 1935 in Jefferson, Texas to the late Booker T. Wash and Dollie Wash. Pleas was the second child of three siblings born to this union. One brother, Clarence Wash, proceeded him in death. Pleas Wash attended and graduated from elementary and high school in Jefferson, Texas. He later pursued higher education at Prairie View A&M College in Prairie View, Texas. Later, he enlisted and served in the United States Army. Pleas Wash was an avid learner of mathematics. He worked for the City of Dallas for several years. He was quite a handyman as well as a businessman. He also enjoyed doing jobs in construction. His passion for rehabilitating rental properties inspired him to begin to acquire and fix up properties of his own. Pleas Wash learned about Christ at an early age. He faithfully served as a Deacon at Oakhill Missionary Baptist Church for many years. Pleas leaves to cherish his precious memories a loving companion, Gertie of Dallas, TX; three loving children, Undrey (Alice) of Dallas, TX, Cecil Wash (Sabrina) of Dallas, TX and Patrick Wash of Houston, TX; two devoted sisters, Hazel Belle (William) of Chicago, IL and Leona Renee Love of Jefferson, TX and a host of adoring grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
