Marine M. Williams-Jones July 27, 1942 to George and Gladys Moore of Waxahachie, Texas. She was one of twelve children born to this union. Maurine attended Waxahachie Public Schools. She passed away June 9, 2007. She was preceded in death by her mother, Gladys Mitchell; her brothers, Lawrence Moore, Dennis Moore and Alton Mitchell; her sisters, Georgia Sherwood and Alta Stern; and her son, Ellis Jones.
