Leonard Maxwell was born in McKinney, Texas on December 26, 1931 to Clayde and Agnes Maxwell. He accepted Christ at an early age and was a member of St. James CME Church in McKinney, Texas. He graduated from Doty High in May 1949. He was employed at American General Insurance where he retired and also retired from Wal-Mart. He is preceded in death by his wife, both parents and a grandson. He was married to Frances L. Perry for 47 years in the union was four children. Sharon Maxwell Fulghum, Anthony Maxwell (Tina), Angela Maxwell Jackson, Leonard Bryan Maxwell (Artavia). There are nine grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren. Two brothers; Bertrand Maxwell and Raymond Maxwell (Rubino) and three sisters; Ora Crockett, Mary Wiggins and Dorothy Chenault and host of relatives and friends.
