Life Reflections
September 8, 1974 - April 2, 2026
Jucarlos Lamune Stewart, Sr., lovingly known as "Big Stew," peacefully transitioned to his heavenly home on Thursday, April 2, 2026, in Dallas, Texas, at the age of 51. Jucarlos was born on September 8, 1974, and raised on the Cooper Road in Shreveport, Louisiana.
At an early age, Jucarlos confessed Christ as his Lord and Savior and was baptized under the leadership of Reverend M.C. Pearson, laying the spiritual foundation that would guide his life. His faith remained a cornerstone of who he was, evident in the love, kindness, and compassion he extended to others.
Jucarlos was a man with a giant, loving personality whose presence filled every room he entered. He was a beautiful example of showing love to everyone, just as Christ loves us. He never met a stranger, and his kindness, warmth, and genuine spirit left a lasting impression on all who knew him. His life was marked by his love for the Lord, family, love for music, and love for people.
He attended Green Oaks High School, where he played the alto saxophone, beginning a lifelong connection to music. Music was one of Jucarlos's greatest passions. He later sang with the Chosen Music Group at Lake Zion Baptist Church under the leadership of Reverend James T. Sims, Pastor, and he also played drums for the church. His faith and love for worship were evident in the way he shared his gifts so freely.
Jucarlos was also a hardworking and talented man who used his hands and skills to bless others. He was gifted in remodeling (commercial and residential), auto mechanics, and carpentry. He worked as a Machine Operator in construction with Mario Sinacola.
Since 2010, Jucarlos was a proud member of So Fresh Rydaz M.C., where he built lasting friendships and brotherhood.
Jucarlos was preceded in death by his wife, Shameka Howard Stewart, father, Eddie Lee Campbell, Sr., maternal and paternal grandparents, and his niece, Sha’terrica Pennywell.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his loving mother, Eddie Joyce Campbell; his children, Jucarlos Stewart Jr., Lewis Stewart, Jaylon Stewart, Jayla Stewart, Ebony Brown, Kaitlyn Howard, and De'Anthony Howard; his grandchildren, Jaise Stewart and Melodi Stewart; his siblings, Aaron Campbell, Sr., Brian Campbell (Tameka), Tiffany Randle (Marc), LaTasha McKay, Felecia Palmer Daniels, Eddie (Palmer) Campbell Jr., and Gabe Palmer; his special friend, Nia Fisher; his beloved nieces and nephews, Ta'shavia Campbell, Braylon Murray, Brian French, Khennidi French, Brianah French, Marc Randle Jr., Aadrina Campbell, Isaiah Campbell, Aaron Campbell Jr., and Dream'On Boyd; and his great nephew and nieces, Ja’Hier Woodard, Rhyleigh Campbell and Imani Campbell.
In addition to those named, he leaves behind a host of uncles, aunts, cousins, extended family, and dear friends who loved him deeply. Though his time here was too short, the love he gave, the joy he shared, and the memories he created will live on forever in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
"My command is this: Love each other as I have loved you." - John 15:12
Well done, thou good and faithful servant.
