Jimmie Lee Wadley Barrett was born October 18 1936 to Joanna and Willie James Wadley, Sr. She joined Jasper Baptist Church at an early age. After moving to Dallas, she united with Chapel Hill Freewill Baptist Church and was a faithful member for over forty years. She was a 1955 graduate of A. M. Story High School, Palestine, Texas. She departed this life May 5, 2008. She was preceded in death by her parents, Joanna and Willie James Wadley, Sr.; husband, Elvester Barrett; sister, Etta Net Mitchell; brothers, Aldon Edgar Wadley and Willie James Wadley, Jr.
