Jerry Lewis Wilson was born on February 26, 1955, in Fort,
Worth Texas, and raised in Ennis, Texas and later moved to
Forreston,Texas. Jerry lived a life marked by kindness,
dedication, and love for those around him
Jerry attended Stephen F. Austin and Dorie Miller in his early childhood
and graduated from Ennis High. He was a bull rider in his high school years,
and in 1972 he enlisted in the U.S Navy and received the National Defense
Service Medal.
Jerry was a man of quiet strength, a kind heart, and a gentle spirit. He
was known for wisdom, his deep love for family, and his unwavering loyalty to
those he cared about.
Jerry had a strong work ethic and generous soul and was always
willing to lend a helping hand. He found joy in the simple things in life, good
conversation, listening to music, watching sports, and sitting under a shade tree
on a stoop and spending time with family and friends. His presence will be
deeply missed, but his memory will live on in the hearts of all who truly knew
and loved him.
He was preceded in death by beloved parents Lewis Kelly Wilson and
Willie Mae Wilson, loving grandparents and his siblings Royce Wilson, Michael
Wilson and Joyce Kirvin and other loved ones that welcomed him home.
Jerry is survived by his two beautiful sisters Ella Marsh and
Stephanie Wilson (Glynn), a Special Aunt Louise Younger and a host of nieces,
nephews, cousins and friends who will cherish his memory.
