Obituary Mrs. Janie Ann Johnson answered the death call peacefully on Monday, January 10, 2011 at here earthly home. She was born on February 16, 1948 in Waxahachie, Texas to the parentage of C.L. and Margie Clay. She was united in marriage to Mr. Leon Brown Jr. who proceded her in death along with one son Lalanreal Brown. At an early age she excepted Christ as her Lord and savior. She was a faithful and loyal member of The Fellowship Church of Fort Worth, Texas where she served as Church Mother. Church Affiliation included: First Baptist of Hamilton Park & Concord Baptist Church of Dallas, Texas and New Galliee of Mansfield, Texas and Corinth Baptist Church of Fort Worth, Texas. She leaves to cherish her loving memory two daughters; Minister Toni Edwards (Don) of Arlington, Texas and Tomitra- Ayowunmi Odunaiya (Sunday) of Ponder, Texas and one son Jacques Brown of Austin, Texas. Four brothers Pastor James Clay Sr., (Freda), Minister C. L. Clay Jr. (Judy), Mr. Lonnie Clay Sr. (Vanessa) all of Dallas, Texas, and Mr. Rickey Clay Sr. (Regenia) of Washington D.C. three sisters Betty L. Burns of Waxahachie, Margie West (Pastor John West) of Texas City, Texas and Myrtle Johnson (Pastor Robert Johnson) of Temple, Texas. Eleven grandchildren, One Great Grand-daughter (Elicia) and Two God Grand- Children ( Andrew & Andrea Joubert). Her beloved Best Friend Carolyn Smith along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Janie's passion was working with children, she fulfilled this calling while working in children church and Small Creations Development Center. Janie will be loved and missed but her legacy will live on through those she touched.
