Ismail Ashanti 57, passed away October 8, 2011. He was born on January 24, 1954 to Simon and Veola Batts Cannon. He had attended Oak Lawn and Turner High School in Waxahachie, TX. He later went on to receive a Bachelor degree in Business management and a masters degree along with other academic awards and certifications. He is preceded in death by his parents Simon and Veola Cannon, a brother Billy Joe Cannon also a sister Eloise Cannon. He is survived by daughter Lisa Breeding, Timothy Jackson, Anthony Jackson all of Forth Worth, Tx Mustafa Sharif Ashanti and Jewel Sutton both of Dallas, Tx, Brandon Solomon of Dallas, TX and Steven Sutton of Alaska. 1 brother Simon Cannon of Dallas, Tx, 5 sisters Rebecca Medlock "George Medlock", Linda Cannon, Roxann Smith all Dalllas, Tx, Yvonne Cannon of Hillsboro, Tx Nellie Lott of Grapeland, Tx and Winnie Cannon of Anna, Tx Ismail had 7 children, 13 Grandchildren and 6 great-grand children
