Born September 2, 1927 in Waxahachie, Texas to Sandy an Louisa Wallace. She attended Oak Lawn School. She later married Johnny Chatman who preceded her in death .Mrs. Helen Chatman was a member of the Greater New Mt. Zion Baptist Church for a number of years, she left to go help her son Rev. Nimr Mahdi in his ministry at Cornerstone Unity Church in Forreston Tx. Helen was a bailbondsman of Ellis Co. and will be missed by all the people of Waxahachie,Texas. She also helped people by renting houses to them.
