Superintendent George A. Pharms, age 83 entered eternal rest on July 1, 2011.Survived by his loving wife of 52 years Ethel Pharms, children; Eva Bowman(Clarence) of Dallas, Tx, George Pharms, Jr.(Martha) of Cedar Hill, Tx, Wayland Pharms(Lisa) of Gun Barrell City, Tx, Micheal Pharms(Barbara) of Dallas, TX, Lisa Pharms of Dallas, Tx, Cheryl Pharms of Dallas, Tx, Gail Cash of Waxahachie Tx,Phillip Cash of Desoto, Tx, and Dwight Cash of Waxahachie, Tx, two adopted sisters; Lois Johnson and Bernice Buckley of Waxahachie, Tx 16 grandchildren, 26 great- grandchildren, and 3 great- great -grand children.He served in the Air Force in 1945.Superintendent Pharms ministered for over 63 years,he served as pastor of Greater Grove Temple COGIC for 25 1/2 years and will truly be missed.Viewing on Friday July 8, 2011 from 11am to 6pm followed by a wake service at Greater Grove Temple COGIC from 7PM to 9PM.
