Ezra Waters was born to the parentage of Alma and Willie Waters. His parents preceded him in death. He attended Oak Lawn High School in Waxahachie, Texas. After which, he joined the Army. He was preceded in death by: his wife, Ruthie May Waters; parents, Willie and Alma Waters; two brothers, Vernell Waters and Samuel Waters.
