Eva Lois McElroy Yarbrough was born November 8, 1937 in Oakwood, Tx.The only child born to the late William Marvin (Jack) McElroy and Eva Joe Parks McElroy.Preceded in death by daughter Desiree McElroy Survived by her loving husband Levi Yarbrough;one son Rickey McElroy(Phyllis) of Ferris, Tx;3 grandchildren Elisha McElroy, PorsheYarbrough and Tosha Yarbrough;step sons Milton Yarbrough(Michelle) , Levi Earl Yarbrough III and Deray Yarbrough all of Aurora, Co;Godson Aloysious Amhad Edwards Robinson;goddaughter Joi Cheri King. She was united with the South Union Baptist Church Family where she remained a faithful member until the Lord called her home.Eva was a graduate of A.M.Story High''Class of 1955'' for this she was most proud because of the loving bonds forged with her class mates. She attended Henderson County Jr. College and eared a basic certerficate in banking from Tyler Jr. College. She was employed with The First National Bank of Palestine and later National Security Bank of Tyler, Tx. Her final place of employment was with the Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Coffield Unit, from which she retired in 1995 and was known as'' Annie Oakley ''of the unit. Eva was known for her distinct style and she will be truly missed.
