God sent us an angel on September 5, 1919. Ernest Franklin and Alva Harper Franklin were blessed with a baby girl and named her Eula Odessa Franklin. Eula received her education in the Madison County school district and professed Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior at an early age. In 1940, Eula married the late Reverend Freeman Robbins (deceased August 21m 1992). Later she became the First Lady of Sweet Home Baptist Church (Bardwell, TX). In 1993, she joined St. Mary Baptist Church (Bardwell, TX). Eula was a dedicated and loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She is preceded in death by her parents, a daughter (Dorothy Walker), one son (Freeman Robbins, Jr.), one brother (R.A. Franklin) and four grandchildren (Linda, alma, Paxton and Lois). She leaves to cherish her memories, five children: Lee Robbins (Florine), Eula Beal of Bardwell, TX; Sherman Robbins (Lois), Arthur Robbins (Vera) of Waxahachie, TX and Ike Calhoun (Katherine) of Ennis, TX; three brothers, R. L. Franklin, Lester Franklin of Madisonville, TX and Chester Franklin of New Waverly, TX; twenty grandchildren, 36 great grandchildren, 16-great-great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousin and friends.
