Cynthia Marie (Murray) Coale, age 70, made a peaceful transition into the arms of our Lord and Savior on August 3, 2026. Born on April 23, 1956, in Waxahachie, Texas, the beloved daughter of Oscar J. and Jonnie Lee (Taylor) Murray. Cynthia was raised in the African Methodist Episcopal Church. She came to faith at a young age and was baptized as a follower of Christ.Later in adulthood, she became a member of the Church of Christ. She will be remembered fondly by the congregations of Smith Chapel A.M.E. Church, Dallas West Church of Christ, Tri-City Church of Christ, and The Singing Hills Church of Christ.A 1974 graduate of David W. Carter High School (Dallas, TX), Cynthia went on to complete undergraduate studies in Business Administration at the University of Texas at Dallas. She was formerly employed by Texas Instruments in Garland, TX, McDonnell Douglas in Titusville, FL, and Bell Helicopter in the Hurst-Euless-Bedford area.Although Cynthia struggled with mental and physical health challenges in more recent years, she refused to allow the difficult days to completely overshadow the beauty of life. She understood that it could bring both sunshine and rain, yet she continued to smile, love, laugh, and embrace the blessings life offered.She was preceded in death by her parents, Oscar J. and Jonnie Lee Murray; her sister, Princella Anders; and her eldest daughter, Tamica Broden.Cynthia is survived by her loving siblings, Vernetta Murray, Andre Murray, and Joni (Arion) Cooper; her daughter, Kristen (Ben) Williams; her granddaughters, Cassandra Burke, Amyrah Mohammed, Mae Williams, and Ada Williams; her nieces and nephews, Jacquline Langston, Jocelyn Townsie, Georgette Brookins, George LeJon Brookins, Lanetta Brookins, Kellee (Dave) Dawkins, and Benjamin Jalloh; and a host of great-grandchildren, great-nieces, great-nephews, and cousins.
