Carrie Lee Mitchell was born August 22, 1938. She attended Turner High and was a graduate of the Class of 1956. Carrie attended Mt. Lebanon Primitive Baptist Church. She was married to the late Tommie Joe Mitchell. Mrs. Mitchell was a retired employee of The Veterans Administration Hospital.
