Anita Lynette Whitehead-Gullette passed away in Mansfield, Texas at the Methodist Mansfield Hospital on June 1, 2021. She was born on May 3, 1967 in Waxahachie, Texas, to the late Joe and Joann Whitehead. She attended Waxahachie High School and graduated with the Class of 1985. She leaves to cherish her memories with her husband, Charles Gullette; mother-in-law, Lessie Bryant; only daughter, Kendra Sharda Allen; grandson, Jayden Balima; sisters, Dorothy Whitehead, Lisa Cash, Teresa Brown (Anthony), and Tonia Whitehead; sister-in-law, Jalonda Gullette; nieces and nephew, Trey Whitehead, Marc Brown (Nyla); Desmond "DJ" Brown, Jada Brown, Whitney Brown, and Michelle Phillips; aunts, Ruthie Johnson and Rosalie Cash; and uncle, Bobby Ray Whitehead. Lynette was preceded in death by her loving parents, Joe and Joann Whitehead; maternal grandparents, Nathan, Sr. and Emma Cash; paternal grandparents, Eddie and Nettie Whitehead; maternal aunts and uncles, Nathan Cash, Jr., Pear Ethel Moore, Juanita Cash, Emma Lee Phorne, William Cash, Sr.; paternal aunts and uncles, Eddie Whitehead, Jr., Austin Whitehead, Willie (DuBill) Whitehead, Viola Whitehead, Catherine Whitehead, Ella Mae Whitehead and Nettie Faye Whitehead; and a host of cousins, relatives, friends, and classmates.
